Today I'm going to make a post about Siri tips and tricks. As you know I've previously made a post about Siri but today I'm going to have a continuation which includes some funny things (like the previous) as well as some new tips that may make it more useful to use Siri.
Tip 1#: Is Siri saying your name really funny? tell Siri "learn how to say my name" and she can do just that.
Say your name upon prompt, then she will have a few pronunciations; listen to all of them, and, when have found the one you're happy with press select. Or if none of them sound right, tap "tell Siri again"
It will do this for both your first and last name.
Tip #2 edit what you say
This one is interesting. Although Siri is 85% of the time accurate, she can't always quite catch what you say. Like this, for example...
If something like this happens, simply tap on the words Siri thought you said, and edit it accordingly:
Then hit done.
Gimmick #1 "how old are you, Siri?"
This joke has several possible outcomes, but I thought this one was especially funny.
Gimmick #2 "read me a story"
This is the most text I have ever seen Siri say. Oh, and you have to be patient with this trick. it may take you several several times to get her to read you a story. Just say "read me a story" over and over until she tells you, well, a story.
Gimmick #3 "sing a song"
This one is like the story gimmick. Say "sing a song" over and over until Siri finally gives in.
