Movie Monday: the Lego Movie!

Hello, everyone!

today since it is Monday (which, for this blog, is Movie Monday) I am going to review the movie...

The Lego Movie, by Warner Bros.
Released: 2014
Genre: Comedy, Adventure
Family Safe?: yes, definitely
Stars: 5 (great Movie!)
is it a movie based off of a book?: no

overall description: it is a really great movie, with a interesting story, and it is littered with jokes and comedy.

story line:  here it is, taken from wikipedia: "The wizard Vitruvius attempts to protect a superweapon called the "Kragle" from the evil Lord Business. He fails to do so, but prophesies that a person called "the Special" will find the Piece of Resistance capable of stopping the Kragle.
Eight and a half years later, an ordinary construction worker named Emmet Brickowski from Bricksburg comes across a woman named Wyldstyle who searches for something after hours at Emmet's construction site. When he investigates, Emmet falls into a hole and finds the Piece of Resistance. Compelled to touch it, Emmet experiences vivid visions and passes out. He awakens with the Piece of Resistance attached to his back in the custody of Bad Cop, Business' lieutenant. There, Emmet learns of Business' plans to freeze the world with the Kragle, revealed to be a tube of Krazy Glue with the label partially rubbed out."

how to make a Frappuccino

Hello, everyone!

just so you know, this week I am taking a break from Movie Monday. I will resume reveiwing movies next week. but now....

How to make a Frappuccino two different ways!

for recipe one you will need:

as much yogurt as will fill the glass you are serving it in

4-5 small chocolate candies

a little butter

vanilla extract

some sugar

optional: coffee, IF that is how you like your Frappuccino, but when I go to Starbucks I just get the cream stuff without coffee, yum.

optional: whipped cream. I would have used this, but we didn't have any.

all ready!

how to make it: get your yougurt into a blender, then get out your 1/4 cup measuring cup, and your tablespoon measure. fill the tablespoon measure with vanilla extract and pour in blender. now, listen CAREFULLY: fill your 1/4 cup about only a QUARTER full with sugar, THEN pour. If you fill even 1/4 cup with sugar, it will be too bitter.

unwrap two chocolates, put on burner with some butter, stirring and watching as you do this recipe.

put 2 other chocolates in the blender, then blend. pour, but wait, there's more...

as SOON as the chocolate is done melting, turn off the burner and take it off the burner.

 pour it on the drink!

optional: add starbucks coffee, stir and top with whipped cream before pouring chocolate.

recipe two: follow directions as above, but use ice cream instead of yogurt. maybe Starbucks ice cream?

please look forward to my next post, and please comment if you have anything you would like to say or if you would like to suggest and idea for a future post!
